Ok I followed the quickstart installation tutorial that has worked for me previously.

When everything was done and i went to http://www.mybaliconcierge.com it was already done with the message remove installation folder. I renamed the installation file and then clicked on site and I get a Joomla Open source content site.

Any ideas.

If i change the name back to installation then i get the page back that looks like this http://www.mybaliconcierge.com/installation/index.php

Hi Jim
If you get a joomla open site it’s possible you didn’t install the sample data?
Best just to reinstall, if you have the instal folder intact, just delete the configuration.php file and then you should be able to reinstall from the browser.

Hi Shane am starting to do the reinstall now. In the quickstart folder which folder is the sample data you refer to located in?

Which template are you trying to install?

Also, the sample data is installed via clicking the “install sample data” button within the second to last step of the quickstart installation process.

Hi Shane,

I am using Tiris. Last night when I installed it and then clicked on the website it went straight to the last stage. It did not give me the option to go through any of teh stages.
