hi I have uploaded quickstart installation to the website and when I try and install Joomla 2.5 I select my language click next button but nothing happens I get the following script
installation/index.php#
it has taken me ages to ftp the files and it is frustrating that I now cannot get the installation going so any help would be greatly appreciated

How did you upload the files?

Did you upload the zip file and then try to unzip form your server, or did you unzip the files to a folder on your desktop and then transfer all of the template files over to your server?

hi Tom I could not see a facility to unzip the file on the server so I unzipped the files on my computer and uploaded them which seemed to take forever. I have reloaded the installation folder and still get the installation/index.php# response

so I downloaded joomla 2.5 7 from joomla.org, deleted the installation folder provided with quickstart and loaded the installation folder from joomla.org but still the same response. Do you think it might be a php problem with the server that the website is hosted? Many thanks for your help

Just to make sure … when you performed the quickstart upload/installation process, did you follow the steps as outlined here –> HOW TO CLONE THE DEMO USING QUICKSTART INSTALLATION – A Step-By-Step Guide ???
