June 15, 2015 at 5:39 am #574009Hi there
These issues already addressed. It’s all about database collation. Please use utf8_general_ci .Thank you,

June 16, 2015 at 9:04 pm #574308Thank you, Adam, for this information and support. Viet Vu has installed it for me, and it is now working fine. I never knew I had to create a database with this particular collation. I use cPanel to create a database, and there is no option to specify collation utf8_general_ci. Is this something different just for this template? If so, I may have a problem since I might have to ask for help each time I use a quickstart package. I hope I’m being clear in my concerns with Joomlart quickstart packages. I love the Joomlart templates and would hate to have to give up using them if this is an ongoing issue.
Thanks!

Please let me assist you in this matter then. But first, please follow these steps below :
1. Create a database with collation utf8_general_ci
2. Make sure that the PHP version in your server is 5.4 or newer
3. Please send over a temporary FTP account / database name / database account via private reply and I will install the Quickstart package for you right away.</blockquote>

June 17, 2015 at 2:58 pm #574430Oh thank you for clearing this up. I don’t use VM in a shopping cart so I’ve never worried about their requirements, not in the last few years anyway. Again, thank you for helping me get this up and going.
Pat 🙂
