Hello there,
It seems that, there is an issue with Quickstart J32When I install via quick start without sample data, the site works (ofcourse with no sample data) and when I tried to install along with sample data, Installation shows as successful however frontend shows blank.
Backend works fine and if I login as admin and change template to “protostar” front end works
any idea?

When you choice “Install Sample Data” as “None”, it only installs sample data of Joomla default – not modules configuration – thus your frontend just shows blank. In the case, you need config all modules as per our userguide at; http://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-templates/ja-beranis
Hope that helps.

Isn’t installing “Quickstart” along with Sample Data mimics the demo site? ’cause that is what I am trying to achieve.

</blockquote>As mentioned in my previous post, if you install “Quickstart” with “Install Sample Data” as “None”, you need extra steps: re-confict modules, plugin and created menu as instructed in user guide. In normal installation with “Install Sample Data” selected, such manual configuration is not needed, instead pre-defined configuration is auto loaded for you.
January 14, 2014 at 2:46 pm #518432I did install with “Install Sample Data” selected, and that’s where I see issue as blank page.
The file I am using is :
file: jatc_beranis_j32.zip

January 20, 2014 at 7:40 am #519031I have checked your site, it shows white page because your hosting don’t have GD Library installed yet.
Please contact hosting provider to enable it.
If your hosting gives you permission or in localhost, following steps would help to install GD Library
1. Find your (proper) php.ini file
2. Find the line: ;extension=php_gd2.dll and remove the semicolon in the front.Then, the correct line should look like:
extension=php_gd2.dll
3. Then restart apache.
