Hi there, i try to install the quickstart of the JA_CAGOX template at localhost, but the installation always stops at the installation of the sample data. It keeps on running but nothing happens. I already download the template again, and tried to installed it now for the 3th time but always the same problem.

Hi there

We are sorry but we cannot answer to your question since you are installing on localhost

I can say that quickstart version on my localhost works fine, and maybe you should check your localhost settings ( mostly errors are coming from MySql configuration ) try to verify my.ini config

So the solution could be to try quickstart installation on a public server and if ( eventually) you still should encounter problems we can verify it.

ok i try to install the quickstart version now on the webserver. Previous versions of joomla or also your quickstart package (fixel) worked perfect on localhost with xampp. I was getting through the installation of joomla, and the databases only the sample data of ja_cagox gives me problems on the localhost.
If i have problems on the public server, i let you know. Kind regards.

I guess it regards to memory_limit and max_execution_time from php.ini file of your hosting, you need to change it as

memory_limit: 32M
max_execution_time: 300
