New to Joomla, love the Nerine template but really want to use the quickstart module.

Can you give a few simple instructions as to how to upload? I can get into administrator and have successfully loaded the basic template but really would like to use the quick start.

the quisckstart is a full joomla install with the template and needed modules allready set up

just install like you would any other joomla installation

make sure you install sample data when prompted

I need more help than that. Can you walk me through the exact steps for installing joomla with the quickstart guide? I use a simple scripts function or fantastico funtion with my host to install joomla. How do I use that to install the quickstart or how can I do it from scratch? My technical abilities fall somewhere in the middle so the least complicated and time consuming solution would be much appreciated. Thanks.

you can’t use a script or fantastico, you need to do an acual install of the quickstart which is a full joomla install with the template. component, modules and sample data already included.

ftp the quickstart zip file to your server
create a mysql database
unzip the quickstart on your server
go to your domain in your browser
follow the installation program
make sure you install sample data
when your done delete the installation file
done
