Folks,

Sorry to Bug you, it is my learning curve with QUICKSTART, taht should be named LOINGSTART

I follow some advice to install JATELINEII to look as teh DEmo, using teh Quicksart

Well this one went Worst… because after teh installation, the only module found was teh Main menu.. and nothing asbout the DEMO.

No “Menus” No TABS even worst beacuse thsi installation doesn’t have teh rest of teh Modules that comes when i used FATASTICO from CPANEL … but i got it to install

I NEED HELP ….

I post 2 days ago a message on regards to JATELINE. The replys came that if i want to make it look eaquel to the demo, i should install it as a Joomla the Quicstart instalacion,

ok… I manage to install but look worst, because teh only Module installed is “Main Module” …

STEPS
1. I rename the old joonla 1.5.8
2. I upload the Decompress Files if teh QuickStart (All Files decompress)
3. From MySql, i create a barn New Database “jo151” and a User “jo151”.
4. I add the user to the Database so that the installation could continue, providing teh FTP
configuration as well as the root,

5. ThE installation Finished and warm me to remove teh Folder “INTALLATION”

and after That, the installation is screw up … NOTHING AS THE DEMO
This si Very Difficult to make something to look alike

I WISH THAT JA SHOULD GIVES IN A DECOMPRESS ALL MODULES AND PROGRAMS SO TAHT WE INSTALL IN THE TRADICIONAL WAY ….

i have replied in the other thread. please make sure you have press “install sample data” during the installation

I also just replied to the other thread with some more info. But the above tips or reminder is very important, and might be just the right answer. Baybe that is why there is not data in the quickstart you just installed. Try again, and read over the old thread again.

Once you get it you will see that it is not that difficult.

I just payed for membership, then downloaded and installed Teline. I also am having great trouble figuring out how to get it configured.

OK, there is a Quickstart, but how do I actually use it?

Rather than explain here how to install the Quickstart I suggest you check out the Tutorials at this link:

There are several you could probably benefit from including one on how to install the Quickstart. There are also several threads dedicated to this that you can find in you search the Forum.

Trying to use the “quick start” is proving to be more complicated than not using it.

I have followed the instructions carefully, but my FTP server keeps rejecting the teline II files in the Quick start installation package.

I really hope I can start to figure this out. Right now, it’s very frustrating.
