Hi magneticeye,

At this time, our JA Google Map plugin doesn’t support to display a radius overlap for service area. But, I will transfer this suggestion to our dev team for new feature consideration. I will back to inform you when I get the confirmation from them.

I have gone for a temporary solution for the moment and used a static image from this site : freemaptools.com

Another suggestion for the Google Map Plugin is maybe putting a place where you can put in custom javascript code from the google api in the joomla backend. The reason for this is that there are a huge number of variations and things you can do with google maps and it would allow some customisation.
I am sure you could do it now but I don’t think it would be as easy going to the plugin in the joomla back end and going to a box that says “enter google api javascript here”.

What do you think? Would that be a useful solution?

Yes. That is an interesting solution with static map picture at this time while you don’t need to hack the plugin. But, adding the new feature of our plugin or our products is a product development process, which should be considered and carried out by our dev team since they know strongly about what they created, and which exact files they should work on to get the new desired feature.

Anyways, as i mentioned above that i will transfer your idea to our developers as an new feature consideration for our plugin. I hope that one of them will back to confirm about this consideration. You know it is quitely hard for me to have an exact info at this time.
