I have used one of JA templates as a basis for a template for one of our brands and decided to use the Random Image Module as part of it. I use Firefox and throughout the design process somehow forgot to double-check the compatibility of my template with IE. It was later brought to my attention that there was something wrong with the way the site was displayed in IE, so I checked it out and realized that the Random Image Module won’t align to the left of the content, but it seems to be “pushed” under the content.
I searched the web for an answer and found a thread in one of the many Joomla forums, saying that if you leave the “height” and “width” parameters clear in the module settings, it fixes the problem. So I tried that and it did fix the white space problem, but now my images are not the right size… instead of 200×400 px, they are displayed as 50×100 px images.
The previews of how the site looks in IE and FF (with the height and width parameters set to 400 and 200 px) are attached to this thread.
Can anybody help me with this please?

July 16, 2007 at 10:33 am #224294the Random Image module comes standard with Joomla! (at least I think so)…
and I can’t remember which template I used as the basis for this website, but I know that I modified it extensively, so it doesn’t even look like the template it used to be before… 😉
