I deleted my original joomla installation and all files in my public_html folder.

Then I FTP’d JA LENS Quickstart.

Then chose to install the clean version of Joomla in the installation. Was that the correct choice for the Quickstart, because I am getting a 404 that a “component is missing”…!?

UPDATE: I re-installed once again, only this time I did in fact install the sample data. Now I’m only seeing the index page. Any thoughts?

    hi mckeej,

PM me your server Cpanel access, i shall install the quickstart for you. It should have worked the way you tried, makes me curious why it did not work.

@tfosnom thanks for guiding members to post in relevant forums. I shall move this thread to JA Lens forum now.

    Regards

    Hi mckeej!

Please check again package jatc_lens you download. Because, when i go to ftp your site, it is missing file : index.php, joomla.xml…

And when i install in localhost, it installs normal.

I can try to install on your site (please create database and give me sql account details to use with the installation process)

    Thanks
