when you created your sections/categories the template assign them to this unique ID number. Use the number to control the display of your MOD_JANEWS2 module for JA TELINE III.

The section IDS are use to control the sequence of the NEWS. you might want to manually change the way your categories are numbered like , just an illustration

    Section: World News
    Categories:
    1 Europe
    2 US Politics
    3 Middle East

    and so forth..

    Hope this helps.

    hi,

i still dont understand how to re-order the sections on the front page for ja news2.

    http://www.znanost.com

you can see i currently have the sections like this:
    tehnologija
    svemir
    zemlja
    zdravlje i medicina
    etc…

    how do i re-order that?

i tried moving the section IDs in mod_janews2 module but that didnt change anything.

    thank you

    Dear fmedia!

YOu only change order of Section’s IDs while you putting them into the “Section Ids” paramter inside the configureation of ja news 2 module

    Good luck
