March 20, 2013 at 7:36 pm #186040I have read more set on all my articles however it never shows. I have show intro text set to show. Show read more set to show, and show title with read more set to show. I have the read more limit set to 25000. It works in the editor and shows the red line, but it never shows on the site, any idea?

March 22, 2013 at 7:23 pm #487511Still having issues with read more. On another issue, this is with Kunena. Where would I edit the Mendozite kunena template to change the register, forgot username, and forgot password links. The regular login I have works, but not the links inside Kunena. They link to a page, but the wrong page that will not work properly. Thanks!

March 25, 2013 at 10:42 am #487729However, it still seems to be difficult for me to guess the issue and give out the solution if I do not have a look at it. So, could you please let me know your site URL and the screenshot of the problems?
Look forward to hearing from you

I checked link on menu of your site, menu item appear with article detail, read more tags (<hr id=”system-readmore” />) only work with Feature, Category Blog type.
I have received your pm but with only link I’m very difficult to debug the problem of your site.
If possible pm me admin access of your site. I shall check it for you.

April 21, 2013 at 5:20 pm #490594Ninja, I have the tags (<hr id=”system-readmore” />) added in many of my articles but can’t see the ‘Read More’ link in the front end. Can you please explain what you did to fix rtwolfe’s site?

April 22, 2013 at 10:51 am #490697This way worked on your site
1) Log into admin joomla site
2) Open the article you want to work with.
To do this, in the top menu hover over Content and click Article Manager. Then, using the filter feature, find and click on your article.
3) Place your cursor in the article editor where you would like to separate it using a read more link
4) Click the Read More button under the article editor. You will then see a red line added to your article. If you view the source code of the article, you will that red line is actually the following code:
<hr id="system-readmore" />
or
5) Click Save in the top right menu.
Visit the front-end page that lists the article, and you will now see a Read More button inserted automatically for you!
+Before the Read More link
+ After the Read More link
