You have to edit the language files located here :

Joomla 1.0

Read more :

/language/english.php

Who’s online :

Just change the name of the module.

Joomla 1.5

Read more :

/language/en-GB/en-GB.ini
/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_content.ini
/language/en-GB/en-GB.mod_newsflash.ini

Who’s online :

Sorry but have to reopen this thread…

I have finnish language files in use and those ‘read more’ and ‘who’s online’ strings are translated to finnish but still I have them on english of my joomla site. Do I have to change those strigs somewhere else also?

Those strings are already translated on these finnish files also but I still have ‘read more’ and ‘who’s online’ in english on my site.

Hello there,
I may be missing something in this thread, but I can’t find to change the “read more” link into Dutch.
On my sit http://www.roboweb.nl.mol4.nl I have the language set to Dutch, but still the ‘read more’ keeps coming.
What I would like to use is the alternative read more, but that doesn’t work also.
I’ve searched the ini files in the language directory, but no luck here also.
How can I get my own ‘read more’ text?
