Have you sorted it out at your end? I see the thread is marked with Solved.

Anyway, please try this tweak to get read-more button.

Open the templates/ja_mero/css/custom.css file and add this rule:

.ja-sidebar .readmore .btn {
background: none !important;
border: 1px solid #EEE !important;
width:auto !important;
text-indent: text-indent !important;
}
