Hi,

Something strange just happened. Everything was fine when editing my articles from Joomla backend but then I logged in the front end to edit an article on the Home page it now displays the entire article on the front page without the read more button! The Read-More “button” is gone and replaced by a red-dotted line AND the image is now huge on the front home page.

I know TinyMCE has had issues with the newer versions of Joomla so I think it most have striped out some of the code.

I have code clean up on save to never. Did anyone else have this problem?

Here is the code taken from the article HTML from the intro to the read more line

I never changed any code all I did was just tchange some text and then “saved” my article.

Thanks for any help to fix this and get my button back. I even tried to copy/paste the code from another good article and it’s still not showing the readmore button. I’m stuck on what’s going on.:confused:

Hi,
I fixed it by (I think) re-ftp my Editor Plug-in. Then into article and deleted readmore and re-inserted it and it fixed it. Something went haywire when I went in by the frontend admin to change the artile text. Let’s hope it dosn’t happen again! :confused:
