When I click on “read more” in frontpage, the article opens without the text before the “read more” instruction. How can I read the whole text in article view?
Another question on “read more” button: can I have just the text, without the coulored background?

This is not about template but Joomla… So you should access your joomla admin panel and go to Article Manager.
You should see at right top Parametres button. Click on it and pop-up window opens…
You should choose Show Intro Text option as Yes…
If it is already chosen Yes, you should go to article which doesn’t display introtext… And from the right bar you will see Parametres (Advanced) tab, under this tab you will see Intro Text dropdown list. You can choose Yes or Use Global
