Can somebody please help me to do the following?

    1. How do I create a ‘read more’ hyperlink in the slideshow and point it to an internal article. When I used <a href=”some.html”>Read more</a>, it created 2 instances of ‘read more’ words in the item.
One working, while the other not.

    2. I am not planning to use the top drop down login feature (small arrow on the right). Hwoever retain the top border as a line. How can I remove the arrow alone? Please help.

    Hi drb07,

here is the demo content of JA Lime’s slideshow:

    <h3>Welcome to JA Lime</h3>
<p>JA Lime comes with Demo Installation of <a href=”#” title=”Coming Soon”>”JA Comment” Component</a>, check any article bottom for the comments link…</p>

<p>JA Comment is coming out soon as Enterprise Extension. This component is way ahead of its competitor and is fully loaded with all the features expected out of enterprise level extension….</p>

<h3>Super Cute Illustrations by Ariel Fajtlowicz</h3>
<p>At et id justo accumsan Donec a odio nibh id et. Quisque nunc nibh sit pretium turpis eget sed non Proin non. Justo id pede Vestibulum ornare Phasellus egestas.</p>

<p>Nullam nec In metus turpis eget convallis tempus Donec hac Donec. Orci wisi Fusce consectetuer quis sem et est dui…</p>

    <h3>Amazing bedroom interior design</h3>
<p>At et id justo accumsan Donec a odio nibh id et. Quisque nunc nibh sit pretium turpis eget sed non Proin non. Justo id pede Vestibulum ornare Phasellus egestas.</p>

<p>Nullam nec In metus turpis eget convallis tempus Donec hac Donec. Orci wisi Fusce consectetuer quis sem et est dui…</p>

As you can see, the first url given in red () is where the Read more… link on the bottom of the slide will lead to:

and the second link, inside the slide description (<a href=”#” title=”Coming Soon”>”JA Comment” Component</a>) is where the linked text leads to:

So, if you want just one link inside the slide, remove the second link for the description and put your link just inside the url=”#” tag at the beginning of the slide description.

Now, for your second question, just disable both login module and cpanel module in Joomla module manager, and you should stay with the red line above the website.

    Good luck 🙂
