When I insert Read More in an article, the entire article is still showing in category blog view. I used the Read More insert that is located below the article editor.

Is this an incorrect setting or a bug?

Additional Info: The read more tag keeps changing to <hr id=””system-readmore”” /> after the article is saved.

Hi Linda,

Did you try to set default Editor in global configuration to None before adding readmore button?

I just tried this suggestion and it made no difference. The readmore is still not working.

I have opted to use a different template, besides for this one not working properly out of the box, it’s incredibly slow. This is all too bad because I really liked the look of this template and it would have been perfect.

FYI – I ended up using JA Myths and am having the same readmore problems. Is this an issue with the templates or J3.0? The readmore tag is converting to a hr tag.
