When looking at articles in blog layout or category layout, the “Read More” link extends beyond it’s background graphic. It will say something like: Read More: More about us and our company …
The problem would be solved if it would just say “Read More” and nothing else.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well, found the answer myself, though there’s obviously a problem with the feature, and did not get the support I’d hoped for. I went into Articles Manager and clicked on Options on the upper right. Then selected Show Read More (Show), and Show Title with Read More to “HIDE”

That at least took care of esthetics on this piece.
