    Hi all,

I can’t seem to find any reference to the “readmore” button that indicates what happens when it is clicked.

How do you set it to link to “extra information” for the slideshow item?

    Cheers

    Dear Mark!

You access the configuration of the ja slideshow2 module and choose “Description with Readmore” for the Show Description parameter

    Good luck

    Hi Tienhc,

Thanks for the reply, but this hasn’t helped much. Choosing Description with readmore just enables the button on the slideshow. I want to know what happens when a user clicks the button.

OK. I have worked it out I think.

If you set a url in the then clicking readmore… button would take you to http://www.apple.com for example. But this would also happen if you clicked the image itself.

The readme… button seems a bit superfluous or can it lead elsewhere?

    Cheers

    Dear mark!

i test your example with our demo, it ‘s working: when click to the read more button, the button take me to the http://www.apple.com and i click the main image, it’s so.

    Thanks Tienhc,

It was working in my test site as well.

I guess I wanted to know why the “readmore…” button did exactly the same thing as clicking the image.

I guess it does alert the user to the possibility of more information in another page.

    Ceers

    Hi,

I tried Kyanite II and the links are opening in the same window and not in new tab or new window. I tried this with the latest quickstart available.
