Not really a JA problem this one.

I’ve recently discovered a problem with the readmore button but it only seems to happen in IE8, on FF it is ok.

If I use TinyMCE the editor makes the readmore link <hr id=system-readmore> obviously missing the “” marks.

If I use No Editor I get <hr id=”system-readmore” /> which is correct.

Does anyone know a fix for this? I’ve tried it on a number of IE8 installs and it is the same on all.

If I use FF the readmore button gives <p><hr id=”system-readmore”><br mce_bogus=”1″></p> which works but wtf is the mce_bogus bit?

This is all really annoying having to manually edit the readmore code for every new article someone submits for which I have multiple users doing so.

Hello,

I personally havnt encountered the problem before. But I think you can try adding a www while opening the administrator.

I am not sure it will work, but this is a random guess.

Many problems do arise without the www so you can just try it out.
