Hi,

I know I’m still in somewhat of the developmental stages of my site but I cant help but to notice that the load times for this template seem extremely slow (taking up to 12 seconds or more to load sometimes) compared to other templates that I’ve worked with. I’ve gone ahead and Joined & Minified the css but if I join minify the js, certain functionalities completely stop working. Do any of you gurus have any tips? It would really be an inconvenience to come this far with this template to have it load so slow. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for your quick response, I think there are extensions that are loading their own scripts which is causing the issue. I’ll see if I can strip those scripts out.

Btw if anyone is having similar issues to load times, some good resources that I’ve found to help analyze and solve the problem are listed below:

Extensions:
JHC Pro (Definitely go with the Pro version I went from around 12 second loads to around 8 and reduced overall loading by about 50%)
