March 20, 2012 at 10:59 am #175212Okay seems my recent activities on the Jomsocial frontpage likes to re size itself according to text displayed. Its only in the JaSocial theme for jomsocial so issue is in the theme. Its hard to describe but the pictures will show how it re-sizes to cover up other aspects of the jomsocial front page.
Thanks in advance

March 21, 2012 at 10:27 am #444913was missing the important in these 2 portions in css in file: /components/com_community/templates/ja_social/css/style.old.css
#community-wrap #recent-activities {
border-top: 0 none;
margin-top: -10px;
width: 100% !important; <<<<<<<<<<<<<<< add this line
}#community-wrap .community-status .creator-message.hint {
border: medium none;
color: #888888;
outline: medium none;
overflow: auto;
width: 100% !important; <<<<<<<<<<<<<<< add this line

March 30, 2012 at 5:33 pm #446503I have this issue, too. Why is the .css file all on one line? When I open in Notepad++ the CSS shows up on one line.
Modelc’s solution managed to fix the width, but I have a related issue.
The top left and right corners of the activity stream are rounded, rather than flush with the blue title like other modules.

March 31, 2012 at 11:56 am #446613I had to edit css files manually to have them not all on one line, was a time consuming process.
