Is there a way to set up redirects in the wall blog page. Reason being I’m implementing an innovative idea to a galleries page. I ant to use the blog style page to list the albums, then the user by clicking on these albums will be taken to the page with the images.
I’m using an image plugin to store the images on a page, that part is fine. Now if i load the actual page with the images in the blog style of JA Wall, it takes too long to load because i suspect the plugin is trying to real all the images before the pages are load in the blog style. What i intend to do is create separate articles with just one image which will act as the album cover. When the user clicks on that cover, he will be taken to the page that i use as a redirect, meaning the page containing the images for that album.
My question is how do i set up this redirect from the blog page???? Using Joomla 2.5
    My page is http://www.weonlinemall.com
check out web albums and you will see the time it takes to load, hence my proposed solution.

Hmm… I really dunno what your plugin is trying to do but that behavior seems abit weird. You might want to turn on debug and see if you have a crazy amount of SQL queries being done.

But what you are trying to achieve is why I wrote my guide in the first place as the wall template looks like it would be a great gallery or album template. http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/linking-wall-articles-to-external-url-joomla-2-5/

Great tweak. One question, how do i get it to open in the same window and not a new tab since my links are not external but actual joomla articles. This would be perfect for me.

got it to work perfectly, took out the target_blank. One problem is i keep getting this error on the pages “Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in C:wampwwwlibrariesjoomlafactory.php on line 223”
trying it on my local server.

One small problem, all of my articles that i create now have the word “Article” in the H1 tag. So the word “Article” is printed above the title of the article.
