Hello, I have a problem with the images of the items Virtuemart. Images flood and occupy almost the entire page. How I can do to fit in a certain size without reducing the size and resolution of images.

Got to expect bleed over if your image is 1000px wide and the wrapper it is to be displayed in is only 940 ish
reduce the size of the graphic to a sensible size and it should work. Try 900 x1350 that is the same proportion as your 1000 x 1500 jpg
