I’ve created a custom field in the Fields Form Manager, using my own Reference Database for a single selection menu. When I try it in the preview mode in the left column of the Fields Form Manager, it works like a dream. However, on the front end, it just populates “id” for each value (both the key and the label are rendered as “id”) in the drop-down menu. It’s funny because the # of items in the list matches the # of items in the table, so I know the table has been found; it’s just not parsing the array correctly.
See attached screen shot for backend configuration of Reference Database, as well as front-end screen shot showing the problem.
I’ve blown a whole day trying to figure this out for myself, so your help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Fixed it myself with a little custom coding while waiting for a solution here.
