Does JA have any sort of referral system?
I can’t seem to find one (unless I’m being really blind).

If there isn’t – could there be one set up?
Rewards could be things like credits, or discounts on renewals and purchases!

If there is – then werhey! Send me the link!

You bet there is! It’s an affiliate program that pays you $10 USD just for signing up and 20% of each sale that you deliver. Pretty decent.

Ooh yeah the affiliate program.
I was thinking of something more low-key – like giving a mate a referal link, and if they join you get 1000 credits once payment clears or something.

That way JA gets $70 (for a 1 year standard JA sub.) and I get a nice addition to credits! 😀

Affiliates are more for people who have a lot of time to go around saying “HEY DO YOU WANT A TOTALLY AWESOME PLACE TO MAKE WEB SITES FROM!?”

Yeah I know what the traditional affiliate program is designed for, but really, you can use it just as well to refer a mate to Joomlart. Instead of getting 1000 points you get 20% of whatever your mate buys.

Why not sign up for the affiliate program, and put the link somewhere discreet on your site? Get you mate to join Joomlart by entering through the affilate ad that you place there?

The payout is only if you get more than $100 and I don’t think I’ll be making that any time soon!
But it’d be good for everyone if there was a un-affiliated referall service!
And if you think about it, 3 referrals for a 1000 credits each already makes you $70, as you can use the 3000 credits to extend your JA membership!

Actually, the more I think about it, the more I like it. It is a very good alternative to afffiliate program and surely would help increase JA sales.

Certainly, not every can be an affiliate, but every can be a referrer!
