March 28, 2013 at 9:18 pm #186283Hi,
Before the last JA Job Board update, when registering (employer or jobseeker), clicking confirmation email used to take user to JA Job Board login, not Joomla login. Now it’s taking used to Joomla login. This is important difference because when taken to JA Job Board login, users can immediately see user menu but when taken to Joomla login, they are taken to Joomla profile page and they may not know what to do next.
How do I get users to be redirected to the JA Job Board login so that they can immediately see user menu?
Regards

March 29, 2013 at 11:39 am #488280Hi Hero,
I have done this but it still goes to the profile page, instead of the pages that specified. Please check screenshots.

April 1, 2013 at 7:34 am #488422Dears,
Please open file components/com_jajobboard/controllers/jauserregister.php and go to function register_profile_save() , change line
$goPayment = prepare_data(JBEMPLOYER_USER, $user->id);
To
$goPayment = 1;
Hope this helps.

April 2, 2013 at 2:22 pm #488592Hi,
This still takes to the joomla login, not the job board login. This difference is important because when you’re taken to joomla profile, employer or user menu doesn’t show on the page so user knows what to do.

I have enabled this but when new registered user clicks link from email, user is not taken to login from this JA Jobboard Menu but to joomla menu.

This is user activation link for new Joomla user. So you need create a external menu which point this link and assign JA Jobboard menu module display on it. Hope this helps.
