I forgot it yesterday, but you got a PM where you need to try it out again to reproduce the same problem.

Chris,
Why don’t you post a sample in his “website” so that he can look at it, in the environment of the Hainn’s fix: Joomla 1.5.3-Teline II v1.4. The Hainn’s fix is not perfect, but it has corrected many issues (not all) including some not stated in the changelog.

You guys are driving me nuts making me reproduce the same problem on different sites all the time … be back in an hour or so! 😉

Well, you have not reproduced it in the proposed Collaborative Support Group (Core Team) site yet. 🙂 The beauty of doing it in Menalto’s is that it is a different server environment.
By the way, your server is Linux? Are you using shared server or dedicated server?

I can make it work in category pages, but not in section pages. If I apply this to articles on the section page, they dissapear!!!

Hi Kholey
I actually used a 3rd party extension to handle all my ‘pay to access’ content, plus my subscription plans and payment plans.
Thanks to Menalto’s heads-up, I have come across a company called JoomSuite and have to say they have some great extensions (all paid for).
For my subscriptions, I purchased JS Member, this handles User Subcriptions, Pay to View content, Payment methods. Supports multiple subscription types, coupons, etc. I have to say this has been perfect for my needs!
(This extension cost me 59 euros for lifetime licence, one year free upgrades and one year tech support).
More importantly their Technical Support is wonderful. They have ‘live’ Skype Tech Support and also provide Skype addresses for the individual developers of each component.
They will also configure any of the extensions for you for a very reasonable charge (I used them to set up my subscription plans, payment options and Member Only area of the site and they charged me less than 20 euros!).
Well worth checking out:
