So… after hours of searching and looking I can’t figure this out.

I’m using firebug, but I still can’t figure out where to edit the css.

The registration form is not rendering correctly. Go to the login modules and select “create an account” to re-create the problem.

Correct: (demo or http://happylittlepigs.com/testsite –> using it as quickstart demo to compare to)

    Incorrect (http://happylittlepigs.com)

Any suggestions? I’m so fed up at this point with Teline IV not working intuitively on any level…

I am unable to re-create your problem. I have checked in IE8 and FF and your site is working exactly as per your first image. Maybe clear your temporary internet files or try a different browser to see if we get any differences

It’s driving me nuts. I’ve got FF 3.6 and IE8 both of which show the problem (but the testsite is showing correctly in both too). Cleared cache, cleared temporary internet files, and no difference.

The only thing that I see is a change is in firebug – under computed css for “dt” (inspect element of “required field” in the form) which has different box model dimensions than the test site. Problem is, I have searched and have no idea where the css for this is being overwritten.

Edit: Tried it on a different computer using FF 3.5 – problem persists.

Did you try both links? I have two sites – one is correct (/testsite).

I didn’t see the second site link, sorry.

Did you install the second site differently (a Joomla install then add the components?)

Yes – it’s a clean joomla 1.6.1 install with —security edit: not everyone needs to know my extensions; i will post if a particular extension was causing the problem—

It seems that you are not calling the correct css for dt.

Please could you PM me ftp logons and admin logons for the 2 sites and I will see if I can fix it for you.

Side note – is there a way to add a simple checkbox to the registration form for a terms of service agreement? (not looking to download a commercial extension for something that simple).
