Using full width pages. the login and registration page are falling apart:

I could not access backend of your site too, but you can check and configure Template Style under login and registration pages as my screenshot

It works for the default theme, but not for the dark one. Is there a fix for it?

As there are more things not working with the dark template theme. Would you recommend using the default theme + changing the colors or using the dark theme and changing all the parameters on the pages that are not working?

I do not see dark theme into JA Cagox template and it only works with default theme , if you want your site to run with dark theme, you can follow this userguide for reference here it will help you to make new theme (dark) on your site.
