Hello,

I have been developing a site for the last few months and something has gone wrong.

Is there a way for me to re-install the core files without affecting the work i have already done?

The problem im having is i cant save any modules from the back end and i cant update any of the global settings.
I have been on the joomla forum trying to fix the issue but they have come up with nothing.

PS. im going live early next week and i am just about to pull all my remaining hair out 🙁

It depends from which files you modified, If you are able to take a backup of your website then reinstall it on a new folder and override joomla folder one at once with original core files avoiding to override the /templates folder and see if this solve your issue.
