I have more than 50 files in my Remository Ext. I view the files by defaul ordering – by name. There are 10 files shown per page with a Page menu at the top of the page. If I click on the number of the page, Remository will show me the files on that page. So far – OK.
But if I order the files by File date (submited date) the files will re-order and if I want to view the files on the second (3-rd, so on) page, the Remository will view files from the second page of the primary order (by name).
Probably in the Page link there should be added something. In this case the link for the second page of files ordered by name is:
http://www.beontop.info/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=69&func=selectcat&cat=2&page=2
The link fo rthe second page of files ordered by File date (submited date) is the same!!!:
http://www.beontop.info/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=69&func=selectcat&cat=2&page=2
Whereas it should be:
http://www.beontop.info/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=69&func=selectcat&cat=2&page=2&orderby=4Please, help me resolve this.
August 6, 2006 at 7:35 pm #210036Privet! For first your webpage is in russian language so are not so may people here who can read this language. The second, you must provide a test username and password so, if someone want to see the error you’ve got , not need to register on your website.
I tried to see what is happend on your website but unfortunately i can’t understand what is wrote there (though i am i am from Romania and we are neighbour) 😉August 7, 2006 at 7:58 pm #210045Hi!
Here is test login profile:
Username: test
Password: test555
The problem is that in the link to the next page there is missing information about the order in which the files should be – by name, by date, by downloads, etc.
Log into the test profile and then copy and paste this link into the browser:
http://www.beontop.info/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=69&func=selectcat&cat=2&page=1&orderby=4
then click on the link to the second page.
Actually what I need is information about what have I to add to the page link in order the infromation about the file order to be preserved for the next page and where to add this information?Khanh Le ModeratorKhanh Le

August 8, 2006 at 2:04 am #210049The error may come from old version of Remository. Please update to the latest version.
Mambotheme Groups – an admin side component that provides for the creation and maintenance of groups of Mambo users. Remository (from version 3.20) permits categories or folders to be restricted to the members of a group, and this feature can be used along with the Mambotheme Groups component to achieve full control of file access by user group.
Please download MBT Group component (http://www.joomlart.com/downloads/cat/free_joomla_extensions/mbt_group.html) and visit http://www.remository.com to get latest version of Remository component.March 26, 2007 at 2:05 am #216498What I am looking for is something where I do not have to manually add someone to a group, but be able to, say, have Authors download or something. Why would this not be available?

Post this question on the remository forum? I have always found Martin very prompt in his replies to questions
