I’m a developer member, I need to modify the footer on the right , the one with the joomlart.com link. Where do I go to modify this?

    It’s usually in mod_footer.

    templates>JA Sulfur>mod_footer

The instructions should be in the PDF file that was also sent out to you when you joined as a developer.

So actually, if I install any JA template without the quick start package, I have to add the custom footer my self? I noticed that the copyright notice did not appear when testing it out with Xampp, but never bothered with it, as I planned to remove it anyway.

If you need to add it manually, I am guessing there are quite a few templates out there not being in compliance with the license.

No its the other way around, if you install any JA template (doesnt matter if its quickstart or normal) you will have a JA copyright in your footer. If you want to change that or remove (bought copyright removal or have developers membership) then you have to change or remove it manually.

You sure? As I have not removed anything, and do not have a copyright notice and never had one…

    yes im sure.

    For example look at:

    http://www.joomlart.com/templates_demo.php?template=raite

Copyright © 2009 Raite. All Rights Reserved. Designed by JoomlArt.com.

And its copyright removal you can buy, otherwise it would something like no need to add copyright service or something 🙂

Ok, might be just my download, as I did not remove this (at least not on purpose). I did purchase the copyright removal before I changed it on live site then. Just found it curious if I had to add something myself to be in compliance with the license.

Click on the member Area on the top left of this screen.

On that page scroll down till you see “Your payment history” there you should find your developer purchase behind that is a tab “PDF Copyright Removal” click on that and the pdf shows.
