I may just be overlooking this.
Within my content area or (B) i have my site name displayed for the home page. I want to remove this, but can not figure out how.

Hi jimesmythe,

In Administrator, please go to Menus -> mainmenu, click Home link to edit this menu.After that, you will see Parameters (System) tab, please click this tab, select Show Page Title to No, save changes.
