OK i have seen this posted for Joomla 1.5 but how do you do it in 1.6 for Purity ii

I need to change it to say something else on the frontpage. All other pages work, showing what the page title is, but when i do it on my test site it says “Netheravon Online – Welcome to the Frontpage”. I want to get rid of welcome to frontpage and put in something else and looking through verything in back-end is driving me mad.

I have gone through the ones posted for this problem before but it does not actually refer to Joomla1.6 back-end. Is the page header of “Welcome to the homepage” and the “Welcome to the homepage” on the main index page related or seperate?

You go to Menus > Main Menu > edit Home > Page Display Options tab
