if you use Ja Nerine for Joomla 1.5
You can edit footer.php (ja_nerinetemplatesja_nerine folder)

Search for:
[php]
<?php echo $_VERSION->URL; ?>
[/php]
at the bottom of footer.php and delete it.

or

comment it out by replacing it with:
[PHP]
<?php /*?><?php echo $_VERSION->URL; ?><?php */?>
[/PHP]
