Can anyone tell me how to remove the “Create Account”.

I have disabled it from the global config to disallow new registrations but I am guessing that its seperated from Joomla core settings so it does not affest it.

Hi fernsy.

Check your global config again.
Because if you read the standard issue login form it says:

<blockquote>This Module displays a username and password login form. It also displays a link to retrieve a forgotten password. If user registration is enabled (in the Global Configuration settings), another link will be shown to enable self-registration for users.</blockquote>

I could take a look at it in the back-end if you want.
