How do I remove/hide the date?

I’ve set dates (both created and removed) to “hide” in:

• Articles/Parameters – Global Configuration
• the advanced parameters fo each individual article
• the advance parameters for the main menu/home menu

and they still appear — how do I remove them.

Also, my client would also like the titles to be larger, is there away to remove titles (similar to above problem with dates), so they can just type in the title with the font size they would like?

Hi jimcapraro,

In administrator, go to Menus -> Main menu -> Edit this item menu -> select Parameters (Component) tab -> select Created Date and Time selectbox to Use Global.

Thank you for your response.

I had already tried that — it didn’t work – so I assumed the module was over-riding the joomla settings, I ended up solving my problem by changing templates/ja_uvite/html/mod_janews/blog_item.php
