I would like to know how to remove the Designed by Joomlart in the footer.

My membership allows me to remove it, but I am not sure how.

Can you tell me?

generally ja sends out a email to members on how to remove copyright it may be in there but from memory just edit the footer.php file i think it’s in there

Try looking in the following folders for footer.php

templates/ja_cooper/
templates/ja_cooper/html

Change the text under “You may change this file to suit your site needs”

hey jhough

even though the answer has been provided in this thread, i’d purchase the copyright removal kit. you can find this in your member area (link at the top of the forum).

copyright’s a re there for a reason and to remove it without permission is lack of respect for the author’s work.

I’m not having a go but just advising you in case JA pick up on this and cause any hoo haa.
