    Hi Guys,

    I have tried everything, but cannot find the solution to remove the fading effect from the slideshow at the bottom of the images.

    Im sure its simple, just cannot find the answer. Can anyone please help?

    Thanks

    Hi Mate
    try this, in the slideshow module parameters scroll down till you see “Stage Settings” then look towards bottom of that section for
    “Mask Transition Style” set from the default of Opacity to Sliding. I attach a screenie for clarity

    Cheers Shane

    Hey Shane,

    Thanks for the great support. You guys sure have improved things allot 😉

    I tried what you said, cleared all cache, browser, site and t3 and it does not seem to do anything.

    any code changes which can be made to do it?

    thanks again

    see attached screen shot of settings.

    Hi Mate
    sorry if I gave you a bum steer, I didn’t realize it was a image mask. Gotta stop there early AM debugging sessions LOL

    Go to /tiris/modules/jaslideshow/assets/themes/tiris/style.css
    line 19
    .mask-bottom {
    background: url(bg-mask.png) repeat-x 0 100%; delete or comment out or alternatively rename the image it calls in
    yoursite/tiris/modules/jaslideshow/assets/themes/tiris/

    bottom: 0;
    height: 300px;
    left: 0;
    position: absolute;
    width: 100%;
    z-index: 1;

    Night 2 am need to crash out
    Hope this finally solves it
    Shane

    Hi hotsd,

    did you just delete the line? I tried that and I still have the fading effect? What did you actually remove on the line to get the desired result?

    Jim
