I’m going to use the default joomla login which allows me to use facebook integration. I would like to remove the JA opal login/create account on the menu bar.

Any help would be appreciated!

there is a login module published to the ja_login module position.
Simply go to your module manager. Using the filter options that appear on the right of the page, directly above the module list, select position of ja_login – identify the login module published there, and disable!
