In order to make the modules I have on the front page disappear when clicking on a Joomla content article, I create a menu item with a blog view from a given category. Then, when clicking on that article link, I get the module display from this menu item.

But I can’t figure out how to do the same thing with K2 content. Whatever I do (create menu items for category view etc.), the modules don’t disappear. It seems like all K2 content is assigned to the home page what-so-ever. The only thing that works, is to assign each article specifically to a menu item – but since this is supposed to be a blog / news site, this is obviously not sustainable.

    How does one do this?

Try to check the menu assignment section in backend settings of modules and make sure that you don’t assign modules to the new menu item.

Thanks, I resolved the issue by creating individual blog display categories (etc) with individual module positions for each category!
