Hi, I am using the JA Senecio template. If you look at http://newpromisechurch.us/prd/ You will see the title “Welcome to Joomla!”. I am trying to stop this from displaying.

It comes from the Content titled “Welcome to Joomla!” which is contained in Category “Latest News” within Section “News”. This is all the default code that come with the template.

In the content item, I have set Page Title to Hide, but as you can see, it still appears. I have also hid the section name and category name but the result is the same. Thanks in advance.

exclude it from the front page (content / front page manager, or the front page check box on the item itself)

Hi you need to familiarize yourself with joomla itself. there are many tutorials on the web. to answer your question, you just check the front-page box on each item, or do it through the front page manager.
