    Hi

I downloaded and installed JA the Iolite template successfully. However, I’m trying to get rid of the built-in top menu. I disabled the module “topmenu” in my backend, but it’s still there. I also tried to go into the Template manager to mess around with the setting therem but it wont work.

I can unpublish all the articles in the menu, but when I do so, I get the error “Invalid argument supplied for foreach”, and besides that, it’s not an option since I also want the space where the menu is located to disappear.

Anyone have any clues what to do?

    Kind regards

    hey stylewalker

when you say top menu – do you mean the horizontal menu in the black bit of the screen right at the top???

if it is I don’t think you can disable that because the only way to disable it is by deleteing all the menu options for it in the mainmenu menu manager.

That practically kills your site (i think) – unless there is a way of designating another menu in your template (which might be done in the template manager section).

    Hi Stylewalker,

Just have a look at the module positions as outlayed in the userguide and tell us which module position or menu item you have mentioned above.

That will help us understand your question precisely.
