If an item is added to a block, then when you delete it, some type of container is left behind, which takes up space. How can we delete these extra containers? Screenshot showing "add item" containers left over after deleting

I’ve tried that and it does not remove the ADD ITEM. It will remove 1 if there are many, but the last one will not be deleted. This is what I see after deleting as you indicated

In fact, depending on which component you are working on, some are unclickable except to add the item back again…

    Hi
You can delete the items that is added as new, In the pre-built blocks its present as it can be used later.
But when u put the item live it will be hidden and does not show on the front end of the site.

That is somewhat true. Sometimes, when you delete an Add Item, it goes aways, while other times it does not and it takes up space.

For instance, see screenshot. Two "Add Items" exist even after deleting them.
    Add Items still exist screenshot

Then after I delete, then publish, note that the space between the blue Watch the Video button and the top of the video is the same. Once you delete Add This, that space should go away…
Space taken up by Add This still there…

    Please advise…

    Hi
Add Item option is present in the Prebuilt blocks and if you will not add any item in this part it will hide auto when u publish the page.
Also, the option is there so in case you want to edit the page and want to use this.
When u add a custom add item button you can use it and also remove it.
In Pre-built the option is there as if its removed you are unable to load it for same places.
If you have height issue after page publish share a screenshot i will help you to remove the space.
