Hello,
I am trying to get rid of the main content area that has the header “Top Rated Hotels in France”
I tried disabling in K2 Categories but the site shows as “404”
Thanks for help in advance.

Easiest way, while kind of ugly. Create new section in joomla. Don’t put any articles in it. Go to the menu and change the menu type to Section Blog and select that section.steinar Friendsteinar

June 7, 2011 at 7:42 am #395043I would’ve thought selecting Hide main content block: Yes (Template manager >> edit >> Profiles >> Global settings) would do the trick. Won’t it?
June 7, 2011 at 2:45 pm #395119Thanks Visi and Steinar,
Steinar’s way was simplier, thanks again.
June 7, 2011 at 5:00 pm #395130Well spoke to fast, when I disable the main content block it disables all articles in normal Joomla and K2.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

July 24, 2011 at 2:08 pm #402743Hi,
Decided not to use that template so have to remember. I believe it was in the Main Menu > Home > Change setting there.

July 24, 2011 at 4:19 pm #402759I was looking at the wrong menu, for others who encounter this problem you just need to find where the home page is located in one of your menus, then change the page display options… wow that took so long to do!
