How can I remove the drop down link from the main menu? I have no child links on this menu. I deleted them all. I can not figure out how to remove them.

Also,

The off canvas menu item is showing up on the browser website. I was under the impression that would only show on mobile. Is there a way to shut that off for the browser users while keeping it on for the mobile users as the main menu navigation does not show up for browser users.

The link at the top with the three lines one below the other.

Go to template options > Mega menu > Home > Turn of Submenu option for this .
save changes and check .

Did u open the template style from template options ?
Once u will open it you will see the Mega menu button . Mega menu > Select your menu item > Turn of Submenu option for this . save changes and check .
