How do you remove all remnants of JA Newsflash in 1.5?

I use a flash rotator and in 1.013 it installed 1,2,3.

For some reason, even though I unpublish everything to top…. so nothing is there….

When I publish to top the images of the templates comes back, knocking everything out of balance…..

How do you get rid of that……once and for all….
