Hi all, I am hoping someone can help me with the following. I do not need the JA-News2 module and just want a standard Blog type layout but I do want to hold onto the rotating JA News Frontpage Module in order to show off the latest stories at the top of the page. So to be clear there are 2 things.

1. I can disable the JA-News2 module but then I cannot use the frontpage manager to get the standard blog layout on other templates??? How do I do this.

2. I want to hold onto the Ja News Frontpage module but this seems to show all articles that have been checked as “show on frontpage” which will obviously conflict with what I want to do in my first point.

I need help with this as I cannot switch off the news module in the first place and get a standard blog to work Seems like joomlart have replaced the standard frontpage manager with this JA-News2 module???

A quick update to this thread is that I have the articles now reading onto the homepage in a standard blog however the JA Thumbnail plugin is not resizing the images at all – however when you click into the article everything is fine???

Also the comment count is not showing up – can anyone help here :confused:
